Juanita Chandler, 79, of DeFuniak Springs Fl passed away Friday evening January 31st surrounded by her family. Juanita was born June 29th 1945 to Gladys and Homer Hall. She lived a long, full life, and loved deeply. Juanita is preceded in death by her Husband Ruben, Brothers Willis (Hazel), Frank (Nell), Don (Terry), Sister Evelyn (Earl); Nephew Jerry, and Her eldest son Kenny (Sandy). Along with many other dear friends. She was truly “the last of a generation”. Her legacy of love and family will live on through her youngest son Brian (Tina), Her Nephews Larry (Joan), Robert (Angie), Robert (Pat) Tim (Dee), Kenny her grandchildren Joey, Danny (Angel), Mikey (Katie) Tiffany (Brian H), Kelsie (Stephen), Alyssa (Brandon), David (Michcayla), Cody, Josh (Laura), and Ethan. It brought her great joy to also know many of her great grandchildren and even some great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other more distant family members that she never made feel distant.
Juanita lived a story field 79 years of happiness, laughter, love, and loss, but her greatest legacy will undoubtedly be her ability to love without seeing blood lines or social norms. Her example of a Matriarch and Family center point will be the standard many of us look to achieve in honor and remembrance of her. Even as she faced cancer and the end of her life, she remained a delight to everyone around her. Services will be held at Brackney Funeral home Wednesday February 5th; Visitation will be at 1pm with Funeral at 2, with a graveside service at Antioch Baptist Church. A life celebration meal will be held at Twin hills park Following service.

Aunt Izzy, you are up there with Uncle Dean, (Reuben) having coffee and enjoying being together again! Diane and I, (Cecil, too) enjoyed your road trips to Arkansas. You would always take Kelsie, David and anyone else who wanted to go fishing and never failed to bring home dinner.
You also hold the Best Shopper Award! No one could keep up with you on Black Friday!!
Love you
