I worked with Henry at the 919th for many years. He was an exceptional airplane maintainer who knew more about the T-56 engine than the people who built them. I always enjoyed talking fishing with Henry but try as I might he would never tell me where his really good fishing holes were located.
Rest in peace,
Larry Wager

I will never forget Henry. Working one day late on a flyer I asked him for relay box to slave in and eliminate it as a possible problem. He told me he did not have one, for me to find the problem. So I worked hard but I finally determined it was the relay box. He sent one of his mechanics back to the shop to get one.
WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY HAD HE DONE THIS TO ME, HE SAID HE WANTED TO FIND OUT IF I HAD WHAT IT TOOK OR NOT! Ever time after that he was the first to jump to support me. I enjoyed working with him and have some real good fond memories of our times together. I will surely miss him.

"I am a part of humanity, and every man’s passing diminishes me. Therefore, send not to ask for whom the bells toll, they toll for thee". Henry, I will miss you my friend, and I will pray for your family. The world is a lot less brighter now that you are gone. Rest in Peace, my friend.
