Cynthia Christine Nelson, age 55, of Crestview, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Pensacola, FL. Born on August 21, 1969, in Crestview, FL, to Otis Terry and Linda Davis. Christine was a lifelong resident of the Crestview area.
Christine was a beloved wife to Ronnie Nelson of 28 years, a devoted mom to Richard Nelson (who passed in the year of 2020), and her fur babies. She was a source of strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. A 1988 graduate of Laurel Hill School, Christine dedicated her life to creating a loving and nurturing home.
She found joy in the simple things—gardening with her green thumb, tending to her flowers, and raising her beloved chickens, especially her silkies. Her kindness, open heart, and compassionate spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Christine was like a mom to so many, a treasured aunt, a cousin, and a loyal friend. She loved her community.
She is survived by her loving husband Ronnie Nelson; her mother, Linda Davis; her father and stepmother (2nd mom), Otis Terry and Judy Terry; her three brothers, Otis Terry, Jamie Terry, and Tom Davis Jr.; her sister, Lisha Harvell; her aunts including Ann Walden and Eloise Boutwell; uncles, William “Bill” Miller, Mike Walden, and Bobby Boutwell, as well as numerous cousins including, but not limited to: Terry, Randy, and Donnie Owens, Donald and Kathy Boutwell, and the list goes on. There are countless other people who are extended family and friend(s) to Christine. Her presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Christine’s honor on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Brackney Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Mike McVay officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m., with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.
Christine’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Oh my sweet Christine. I am missing you so much. You and I were tied at the hips from day one of our 55 years of life. I love you and I know you’re no longer in any pain. We all know you were welcomed in Jesus’s arms on Monday. This isnt a final goodbye, just I’ll see you later.
You will always be in my heart and in all those memories from little toddlers til you were called home. ♥️
I love you!
