I’m so terribly sorry to hear of Rodney’s passing. He was a wonderful friend, the very first friend I made when we moved to Crestview. Although we lost touch for several years after high school, when we eventually did reconnect it was just like old times. I sure will miss knowing he’s in this world. He had a quiet, kind spirit & was a sensitive soul. He was a loyal friend, & was so proud of his children, grandchildren & wife (who he always referred to as his “smoking hot wife”).

Deepest condolences to the family.

When I saw Rodney’s name on the marquee at Brackney’s, I was shocked and had to circle back to make sure I read that right. His passing is a complete shock and I know his amazing family is hurting. I’ve known Rodney for many years from being classmates and attending Emmanuel Baptist Church together. Rodney was always a good friend to me and we had such fun when we would hang out back in the day. Everyone who knew him was blessed to call him a friend. To all his family and friends that we were close to him, please know that you are in many peoples thoughts and prayers.
