Evelyne Nelson of Crestview, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Evelyne was born on April 5, 1936 to Preston Nelson and Jessie Lee Givens. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Crestview, Florida.
Evelyne was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Jessie, her siblings; Robert Thompson, Frank Parrish, Ralph Parrish, Gregory Parrish, Jacqueline F. Parrish, and Gwendolyn Ann Parrish.
Evelyne is survived by her sons, Benjamin Robinson (wife Debrah A. Robinson), Preston Nelson, (wife Ollie Nelson), and Glendell Miller.
Services will be held Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2:00pm at Brackney Funeral Service’s Chapel with Reverend Dwight Baggett officiating.
The family will receive friends March 14, 2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm for viewing at the Funeral Home.

Family, I have nothing but good remembrance of Sis. Evelyn. She was quiet, compassionate, patient and friendly to all she met. She attended Macedonia Baptist Church regularly. Before the Pandemic, I looked forward to talking with Sis. Evelyne and her sister after service while they waited for their ride home. My family and I express our sincerest condolences for your loss and pray God’s blessing as you attempt to accept His will.
