Carolina Casil Palmateer 46, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. Carolina was born on November 23, 1976, in the Philippines to Cecilio and Teodosia Lorona.
After moving to Holt, Florida in 2000 she has been a resident of Okaloosa County ever since. She was a manager of Whataburger in Blue Water Bay, Florida. Carolina loved to go to the beach, blogging on the computer, sing karaoke and cooking for her family. She was a loving, helpful and giving person who will be missed by so many.
Carolina was preceded in death by her father, Cecilio Lorona and several brothers and sisters.
Carolina is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Tracy D. Palmateer, her daughter, Tabitha Palmateer, her mother and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Live Oak Baptist Church in Crestview, Florida with Pastor Jerry Nelson and Pastor Cliff Morgan officiating. A burial to follow at Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Live Oak Baptist Church.

She was my mentor, my co-worker, and most of all my friend. My heart is breaking over the loss of her smile, her cooking, her jokes, and most of all her honesty. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you go on. Just look up in the sky and know that she’s looking down on you and watching over you.

I was a customer at wab Carol was always good to us old people that come in there .she like to come to work early and set in her car and play games on her cell phone..she will be greatly missed luv ya carolina.
