Hello from the Philippines! It is with great sadness that I heard of Souren’s passing. I will miss you Souren. You are a friend without saying. I met the Palanjian’s at the Bon Appetit Bakery through my late wife Olga. She loved eating the oven fresh bread and leaving crumbs all over the place! Hehe That was the start of a wonderful relationship with Souren, Arous and children. I will deeply miss you Souren, thank you for your friendship. God bless the Palanjian family at this hour of need. Love you all, Richard

Fourteen years at Bon Appétit. Fourteen years of enlightening. Souren always had a story, a little comment, a grin and sometimes a wink. His smirk always made me laugh. I was truly blessed to have those 14 yrs. Will forever be in my heart. God Bless

My dear Palanjian family, Please know that you are all in my heart and in my prayers during this time and always! Souren taught me at a very young age, the true meaning of “overcoming” and to have the determination to make a vision come true. Such an inspiration! The memories of the times we shared while munching on endless pumpkin seeds are a cherished gift! Much love, Jilla

Dear Palanjian Family!
Your Husband, Dad, Father-in-Law, Grandpa, Uncle, etc. was such a gift to so many!
I also was blessed to be adopted into your family.
Souren was an inspiration to me in tremendous ways! He was the hardest worker, most principled, loyal, generous and inclusive person in my teenage years. Great character was nourished, in him, by every one of you!
I am grateful for his spirit that lives on in you.

My heart is heavy. I read of Souren’s passing today.
He is a wonderful man and a pleasure to collaborate with.
I built his Bon Apetit bakery in Mary Esther. I think this was his first business in the USA.
We are Diminished.
