Margaret “Margie” Joyce Goodwin

Margaret “Margie” Joyce Goodwin 88, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Margie was born on March 6, 1936, in Iowa City, Iowa to Theodore and Nancy Smith. Margie moved to Florida from Iowa in 1954 and has been a resident ever since.

Margie was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and will be missed by all who knew her.

Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Earl Goodwin Sr., her son, Steve Goodwin, her two sisters and her parents, Theodore and Nancy Blakely Smith.

Margie is survived by her sons, Eddie Goodwin Jr. and Mike Goodwin, her daughters, Heidi Roach (Curtis) and Sherrie Hinely, her nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. from The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Rich Price officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
