Queen Elizabeth Richardson 74, of Florala, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 peacefully at her home with loved ones at her side.
Queen was born on April 27, 1949 to Selma and Queen Esther Wiley in Laurel Hill, Florida and has been a lifelong resident of our area in the Florida Panhandle.
Queen was a loving caregiver to anyone who needed her for their children. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her daughter, Tomika.
Queen is preceded in death by her parents, Selma Wiley and Queen Esther Lewis, her brothers, Chester Wiley, Jerome Smiley and Archie B Smiley, her sisters, Maryann English and Maritha Wiley, her aunt, Marie Wilson and her best friend, Mamie.
Queen is survived by her husband of 41 years, James Howard Richardson, her daughters Tomika Richardson (Robert Wright) and Dedria “D.D.” Henry (Jalen), her brothers, Clayton Wiley (Tracy) and Joe Wiley (Ann), her sisters, Shirley Knight and Catherine Parks and many extended family members.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 11. 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. from The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Nelson Williams officiating. Burial to follow at Lockhart Cemetery 20719 Cemetery Road Lockhart Alabama.
