Regenia “Gina” M. Whitehead

Regenia “Gina” M. Whitehead 73, 0f Crestview, Florida passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 peacefully at her home. Gina was born on August 17, 1950 at Eglin Air Force Base in Eglin AFB, Florida to Pasco and Doris Madden. She was raised in Crestview, Florida to then move to Rhode Island, Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise before returning to Crestview.

Gina was an Registered Nurse for over thirty years to include working at North Okaloosa Medical Center ICU for many years. She was a member of First Independent Baptist Church and a 1968 graduate of Crestview High School also attending Broward County Community College where she received her nursing degree. Gina enjoyed singing and was a member of the Sweet Adelines and the church choir.

Gina is preceded in death by her parents, Pasco and Doris Madden and her sister, Patty Griffin.

Gina is survived by her sister, Marlene Pekrul and her best friend and adopted sister, Melodie McClure along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Griffin officiating.
