William (JR) Grady Webster

William (Jr.) Grady Webster 75, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 peacefully with family by his side.

Jr. was born on July 12, 1949 in Bristol, Florida to Marion (Speedy) and Mary Louise Hydrick Webster and lived in Crestview all of his life. He was an accomplished concrete finisher and sheetrock hanger in construction. Jr. was an avid hunter (he loved listening to the dog race), fisher and softball player. In his younger days, he used to ride horses with his friends.

Jr. is preceded in death by his parents Marion (Speedy) and Mary Louise Hydrick Webster and his maternal/paternal grandparents.

Jr. is survived by his five sons, Mike, Steve, Kenneth, John Webster and Christopher Davis, his faithful four legged friend and companion Susie, his four sisters, Carolyn Garcia, Mary Lucas, Christine Smart and Wanda Webster, his fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. from The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Joel Davis officiating. Burial to follow at Crowder Chapel Cemetery 1811 Crowder Chapel Road Defuniak Springs, Florida 32433. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
