So sorry to hear about John. I didn’t see him often, only when he needed something administratively done, but will always remember him as one of the nicest, soft spoken gentlemen I’ve ever worked with. I know he will be greatly missed.

John will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was one of the best supervisors we had at 919th and I always enjoyed working with him. His advice was always sincere and helpful. I’m sorry I didn’t have the opportunity to attend more retiree breakfasts with him. I will keep John and those who loved him in my prayers.

I worked for John for many years, both in the Fire Control shop and when he was the Avionics Branch Chief. John was a good man and a good friend. He was a gracious host when we would go over to his house for dinner and drinks in years past. My wife, Janene, also had the pleasure of working with John at the Duke Field BX after he retired from civil service and the reserves. He will be surely missed.

Remember John well! Proud to be associated with him in the 919th. He was always positive and upbeat, even though his knees hurt. Sympathies to his family. It truly hurts all of us when we lose the best among us. He will remain a genuine credit to Duke and the AF Reserve.
