Larry is my friend. I reflect on my life and think of all the people I’ve known and thought of as friends. I came to realize that many of them were very good acquaintances. Larry Batson IS my friend. He was someone who was there for you when you needed them and he was there when you only wanted a friend. Larry was my dearest friend and his passing leaves a great void in my heart and my life. Larry IS my friend and I have no doubt that we will walk together again.

Bro. Larry was one of the kindest, happiest,on fire for God Pastor and friend I've known. Bro. Larry and Sis. Sheila made such and impact on me and my daughter, one that will last a lifetime. Bro. Larry lived what he preached and loved everyone. My heart is sad that Bro. Larry and Sis. Sheila has left us behind on this Earth but I Rejoice that they are walking on streets of gold and Glorifying the Lord. You will be missed here on this Earth, but we will always keep you both in our memorys.

I was on a horrible path, and while my self-destructive nature was fighting my marriage, Brother Larry Batson held me Like Jesus, Loved me Like Jesus, and was Stearn with me Like Jesus. The many hours you spent cultivating, plowing, and weeding, out of my messed up life, I finally realized I did it, Brother Larry. I figured me out. I will always love you like the older brother I never had. But I’ll see you soon.
