Bertha Mae Vance, age 81, of Baker, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Bertha Mae was born in Red Level, Alabama and was a lifelong resident of Baker, Florida. She was a member of Golan Assembly of God and led the choir for 35 years.
Bertha Mae was preceded in death by her parents Ander & Eula Jane Ward, her husband Curtis Vance, a sister Carrie Lou Lawson, and her brothers Cecil, Elbert, Buster & Alton Ward.
She is survived by her son & his wife Tony & Dorrian Vance
Granddaughter Cheyenne Vance
Grandsons Ian, Colten & Lane Vance, Robert Martin & family
2 sisters Eva Stroud & Callie Williams
Brother in law Sylvester Vance
Sisters-in-law Lois Vance, Alene & Cecil Herndon
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 20, from the Golan Assembly of God, 6612 Hwy 189, Baker, FL 32531 with Minister Guyton Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Pyron Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 19 from 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.

I remember Betha Mae and her husband being in the choir at Milligan Assembly of God Church for many years. They were the sweetest people. Bertha Mae will be missed by many that knew her. We shall see her again in heavenly places.
