Danny Howard

This is a Homegoing for Danny Cleveland Howard, 66 years old.

He was born on February 4, 1958 in Crestview, Fl and died on January 16, 2025 after a brief illness. Danny is survived by 2 sisters, Jan (Danny) Graves and Lisa H. (Butch) Wade, as well as many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, G.J. (Junior) Howard, Jr and Linastean Chessher Howard. His grandparents G.J. (Jack) Howard, Sr and Flora Peacock Howard. and John C. Chessher and Annie King Chessher.

Danny was a gentle soul with a kind heart. He always loved the outdoors- fishing, hunting, riding in the woods, or whatever as long as it was outside. He lived in Crestview most of his life and graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fl. Danny was known for his carpentry and woodworking skills, and had a real talent with any wood. He also loved collecting antique things and reading. He always loved animals and bringing them home with him. He also enjoyed being with the people he loved.

Services will be conducted by Donnie Cadenhead and the burial will be at Holt Cemetery. Pallbearers are Butch Wade, Joel Givens, Ron Wilcox and Roger Stiller. Special thanks to Lisa’s friend and interpreter, Cheryl Lawrence, for her sign language interpreting for Lisa. As well as a special thanks to Troy Watson for playing the piano.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday January 22, 2025 from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral service at 11:00 AM and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
