Donald “Donny” Evans Chase, 43, of Crestview, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Donny was born on July 16, 1982, in Milton, Florida, to William “Billy” Thomas Robinson and Vivian Chase. He was a lifelong resident of Crestview, Florida, where he built his life, career, and family.

Donny worked as a salesman in the construction industry and was employed by Winsupply Inc. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and ability to connect with others. Outside of work, Donny had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, passions that brought him peace and joy and were often shared with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, William “Billy” Thomas Robinson, and his wife, Jessica Halford.

Donny is survived by his loving mother, Vivian Lingg; his fiancée, Darlene Stevison; his son, Donald Evans Chase Jr.; his daughters, Makayla Williams, Kaydance Chase, Kaylee Chase, Chelsea Chase and Jessica Fox; and his beloved bonus children, Zane Bess, Arian Bess, Elizabeth Bess, and Livia Bess, whom he loved as his own. He is also survived by his brothers, Daniel Porter, William Robinson Jr., and Robert Robinson; his sisters, Amanda DeGraaf (Tony), Elizabeth Knicley (Cory), and one cherished grandchild, Leilani Caldero.

Donny will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking nature, and his passion for the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brackney Funeral Service.
