Mom, losing you is truly painful, but I find some solace in knowing you're at peace with our heavenly father, and with Dad, Joey, Neil and Jimmy. Your encouragement and warmth will always stay with me. I love you and will never forget you.

Aunt Brunette was the kind of person who made you feel instantly at home. Whenever we were able to visit her in Florida, she welcomed us with open arms. She had a way of turning simple moments into memories you carry forever.
She taught me that potato salad should be mixed with your hands, not a spoon. When she found out I had never tasted rhubarb pie, we made one together. She could fold a fitted sheet better than anyone I’ve ever seen, and she convinced me that black cherries are the perfect road trip snack.
She was so much fun to be around, and her stories, laughter, and warmth will stay with us always. We will always wish we had one more visit, one more conversation, one more hug.
The memories we shared are forever in our hearts — the annual camping in Georgia on Memorial Day weekend, visiting her in Florida, hearing her tell family stories, the trip to the Gulf, and watching Timmy and Israel fish.
Aunt Brunette, thank you for the love, the laughter, and the little life lessons that made such a big impact. 🌹She will always be remembered and deeply missed. Always in our hearts♥️

I always cared very much for Mavis. She took me in as family right away, and was kind to me without fail. I do want to share something humorous that I got a kick out of. Every time we would travel in a group, she seemed to have no concept of time. Once we were going from Crestview, FL to Bombay, NY, and I suggested an early start to avoid a lot of night driving. She said "Oh, I make it in 14 hours all the time." I said, "Mom, it's over 1,400 miles. You'd have to maintain over 100 miles per hour to make it in that time. When I'm leading the caravan, I have to slow down to under the speed limit for you to catch up!" Made me laugh every time we went anywhere together.
