I so enjoyed Ruth at Crescent Park Village when I visited my mother, also named Ruth. Ruth always had a smile, a joke and a warm greeting. I often found her on the sofa in the living room, her petite frame sinking into the overstuffed furniture. She always took time to speak to everyone and will be dearly missed.

It has been my sincere pleasure to care for Ms. Ruth these last few years. She was a wonderful person. In all the years I’ve cared for people, it’s never gotten easier to see the ones we love pass away. Ms. Ruth was loved! She never missed an opportunity for a hug, or to dote over pictures of my son. Every morning she’d ask “how’s my little boyfriend?” and I’d show her pictures of whatever shenanigans we had been getting into that week. Those moments will stay with me for a lifetime. I wish I had hugged her a little longer when I saw her last.

Mrs Ruth was a sweet lady. She would come in every day to visit with her husband. I ran into her several time after his passing and would go to the Econo lodge to visit and have coffee with her. RIP sweet lady.
