Angela Carol (Barnes) Stroheker, age 63, left our Earthly world on August 17, 2024, and is now in Glory with our Lord and Savior.
Angela was preceded in death by: her parents Elmer Ray Barnes and Lillian Carol Barnes, her brother Ray Lynn Barnes, and her son Daniel Ray Stroheker.
She is survived by: her husband of 36 years William Stroheker, daughter Brandee Weaver, daughter-in-law Judy Williamson, sister Lisa Maradik (Chris), sister-in-law Judy Scott, grandchildren Angelique Kopp (Alex), Ceeaira Clark, Malachi Clark, Joshua Mitchell and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Angela was a devout Christian and prayer warrior! She found solace in nature. She grew up learning the art of fishing, hunting, and gardening and continued these rituals as an adult. She also loved trips to the mountains, kayaking, and hiking nature trails with family and friends.
As much as Angela loved nature, she loved her family and friends even more! Angela never hesitated to pray for someone, even over the phone, send a thoughtful card, or show up at your door bearing gifts of garden vegetables or a bag of boiled peanuts. She also loved giving and receiving hugs and when in her presence you knew she genuinely cared. Her generosity and thoughtfulness had no bounds!
If you knew Angela, you could not help but love her. She left a void in our lives that can not be replaced. Angela had a sweet and kind spirit; and will be tremendously missed and, in our hearts, forever!
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Joy Fellowship Church with Priest Della Goodson and Pastor John Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Joy Fellowship Church.

My Angie had a lot to give. We were best friends. She had such a sweet spirit. She had so much trama in her life and just couldn’t handle it anymore. But I saw her run to Jesus snd Jesus just scooped her up in his arms and said be at peace now, Angie.
