Ashley Holloway Clance, age 36, passed away December 18th, 2020, at North Okaloosa Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Crestview, Florida.
Ashley accepted Jesus as her savior when she was a child. She was a talented vocalist and spent the weekends of her youth traveling across the Southeastern United States performing with her family’s gospel music group, The Williamson Family. Ashley was known to all as a gentle soul who cared deeply for her family and friends. She had a strong work ethic and took pride in her employment in the food service industry. Ashley’s greatest joy was making a home with her husband, Matt Clance, and their sixteen year old son, David, the love of her life. She adored her dog, Titan, a faithful companion that reciprocated her devotion. Ashley enjoyed movie nights with her family and was an enthusiastic flower gardener. Her quiet nature blended well with her passion for reading novels and she treasured time to steal away with a good book. She was a college football fan and never missed an opportunity to attend an FSU game.
Ashley was predeceased by her grandmother, Carol Williamson, with whom she shared a special bond.
Along with her husband and son, Ashley’s passing is mourned by her loving mother, Gina Williamson Toussaint (Regie) of Crestview; Grandpa Frank Williamson, of Crestview; her uncle, Robert Williamson (Kim) of Florala, Alabama; cousin Haley Williamson, of Fort Walton Beach; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial service for Ashley will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, her family asks you to please honor Ashley’s memory by extending kindness and compassion to someone in need.
