Cliffton “Louie” Busbee 55, of Baker, Florida lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Louie was born on July 27, 1968, to Glenn and Doris Busbee and has been a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. Louie grew up in Baker and was a 1986 graduate of Baker High School. Louie enjoyed going to the river, riding the back roads and spending time with family and friends.
Louie is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Busbee, his brother, David Busbee and fiancé, Bonnie Barnhill.
Louie is survived by his son Gage Busbee, his mother Doris Busbee, his sisters, Belinda Gatewood (Tony) and Rita Carroll (Shawn), his nieces, Randee, Jessica, Ashley, Kendal and Reshay, his nephew, Jonathan and numerous other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 beginning at 2:00 p.m. from The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Tommy Griffith speaking. Burial to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Baker, Florida. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
