Colleen E. (Robinson) Meeks
November 24, 1982 – March 23, 2025
Colleen E. (Robinson) Meeks, 42, of Crestview, FL, passed away on March 23, 2025. A proud U.S. Army combat veteran, devoted mother, and die-hard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, Colleen lived life with unmatched heart, humor, and grit.
She served her country with distinction during multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, finding purpose in the mission and deep connection in the camaraderie of service. Her strength and loyalty extended far beyond the uniform—Colleen showed up for the people she loved without hesitation and with her whole heart.
On Sundays, you could find her front and center with her best friend Marisa—cheering on the Bucs as the loudest voices in the room. She had a competitive streak that shined at the poker table, a sharp mind for trivia, and a fierce love for her children that never wavered.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, James and Antoinette Leddy, and her husband, Brian Meeks. She is survived by her brothers, Jim Leddy and Joe Leddy (wife Victoria), and her beloved children: Ashlyn Robinson, Haylie Robinson, Sierra Meeks, and Jeremy Meeks.
A funeral service will be held at Brackney Funeral Service Chapel on Friday, March 28, 2025 beginning at 10:45 a.m. with Pastor John Reaves officiating. Burial to follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 am at the funeral home.
Her legacy of strength, laughter, and loyalty will live on in everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

I only knew Colleen for a little less than two years, but in that time we became great friends. Our common bond was our military service and our love of the Florida Gators. We got to know each other through our love of trivia, often being the first ones to arrive and reserve a table for our group. We talked about places we were stationed and about anything sports related. We made each other laugh, and shared many tears when she lost her beloved Brian. Trivia will never be the same without the two of you. I will especially miss your hugs and your affection towards me as “mom” to our trivia team.
To her extended family and especially to her children, she loved you all dearly and spoke of you often. She was extremely proud of each and every one of you.

She was my supervisor for a short period of time when we worked at Hurby. I thought she always had a serious work look but would see her smile from time to time that light up a room. I am still in disbelief of this but your in God’s care and arms of your dear husband where there is no more pain. Godspeed soldier and my condolences and prayers to the family as they adjust to life without but remind in their hearts and minds. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I never met Colleen but knew about her from the love of her life. Brian lit up when he talked about Colleen and the grin on his face said it all. He met his true love though short it was, they made the best of a true loving family. Those kids were truly loved by the best parents they could ever have and I can’t imagine their lives now without their loving parents. It is truly very sad but they are watching over them for the rest of their lives and will keep them going with the memories of the love they shared. Miss you Brian but you have your soulmate with you now and I know that there is a trivia game going on somewhere up there and you both are winners and are now together

Colleen worked with me at the 505 CTS Non-Kinetic Flight as the Chief of Information Operations. I am still stunned, I’m so very sorry for your loss. Colleen will always be remembered for the amazing person she was. She will be missed by so many.

I’m sorry to hear about Colleen passing. I worked with her at Herby and always enjoyed her humor. She was a good worker and despite being a Gators fan, we at least agreed on the Bucs. Our thoughts & prayers are with her family.
