Danny Lee Mullins 75, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 after battling Bone Marrow Cancer & Leukemia for three years. Danny was born on February 6, 1949 in Pike County, Kentucky to James and Alma Mullins.

In 1970, Danny married the love of his life, Sharon Thacker and enlisted in the United States Air Force where he retired in 1990. He moved his family to Northwest Florida and has been a resident ever since.  Danny was a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.  Danny loved to do very fine embroidery, fish and be with his family and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, James and Alma Mullins and his son, Brian Mullins.

Danny is survived by his wife, Sharon Thacker Mullins, his son, Danny Lee Mullins Jr., his six grandchildren, his 5 great grandchildren, his two brothers, his two sisters and lots of close family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 beginning 12:00 noon at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David VanZandt officiating.

Sharon, I can not how express sad and heartbroken I am. Even not speaking to you and Dan in awhile I still consider both true friends. May God give you strength to deal with the days ahead. Praying for the whole family.
