David Ferris Dunn

David Ferris Dunn 78, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in Crestview, Florida. David was born on October 10, 1946 in Crestview, Florida to Norman “Red” and Jewel Dunn. David returned to his hometown after traveling with the United States Air Force

David was a proud United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran who worked as a civil servant heavy duty mechanic after retirement. David loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and was an excellent craftsman. He was a faithful member of Dorcas Baptist Church.

David is preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Dunn Cadenhead, his mother, Jewel Nell Hutto Dunn and his father, Norman (Red) Dunn.

David is survived by his wife, Pamela Lee Dunn, his daughter, Karen Tamara Reep and son in law Anthony Reep, his two brothers, Joseph Wayne Dunn and William Dunn, his nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am from The Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Chris Laster officiating. Burial to follow at Dorcas Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
