October 04, 1950~April 10, 2025
Deborah “Debby” Hattaway,
Born October 4th,1950, in Texarkana, Ar, passed on April 10th, 2025, in Crestview, Fl. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 yrs, Don, both parents, her brothers, Alan & Mark Marrs, and adopted neighborhood child Becky Arnold.
Debby was a wonderful artist, wife, and mother. She loved reading books and playing pranks, but let’s not forget her biggest love… The Dallas Cowboys!
Debby grew up a military brat. She always said she wanted to raise a family in one place, and that’s just what she did! 1st Ave was her home for over 40 yrs, where the neighbors turned into family whom she loved dearly.
She leaves behind many who love her, starting with “her girls”, The favorite, Vickie ( Chad) Moore, the bossy one, Nicole ( Shaun) Bailey and then her baby, Dey Hattaway ( Jacoby). ” Her boys” and honorary sons, Mathew, Adam, Benny and Patric .
The true apples of her eyes, her grandbabies, Amanda Griffith ( who cared for her granny the past few years), Ryan (Andrea) Griffith, Savannah (Dylan) Thompson, Dalton (Ivee) Bailey, Kara & Nicolas Bailey, Zeyn, Marguerite, & Ivan Madl, Jenna & Griffin Moore.
Great Grands whom she adored, Marley, Brantley, Penelope, Jace, Brooklyn, John, and Miles. Her sister Kathy Cosson and her best friend, her person, #1 sidekick, Faye (jason) Bach.
Debby loved with her whole being, and that love is going to be greatly missed, along with her Christmas window paintings and spunky attitude. If you knew Debby, you knew the amazing lady she was, and if you didn’t, well, we say, sucks for you, cause Damn Debby was the best!!!Celebration of life will be April 26th, 2025, from 10-12  at brackney funeral home, come  join us in remembering one incredible lady!

All of you are my loves! Your Mama was such a piss and vinegar type of woman. Kinda like mine. I love and pray for all of her children and their families. She will be remembered forever. If I can be there in any way for any of you don’t hesitate to call.

I am so very sorry to read this! I ve made many visits to see Don and Debbie, the coffee was always on. I don’t live in Crestview any more, but often think of the great times in the past. Always a gracious lady, she (and Don’s) kindness and kind words will never be forgotten. God bless this family at this time. Prayers for all.

So sorry to hear about Debbie’s home going ✝️ I met her when she and Don came to sign language classes I taught about the time she started loosing her hearing. The whole family was a blessing to know and work with as they all poured their hearts into learning to communicate together❣️ The girls were young then. She was an awesome Mom, loving wife, and close friend ❣️My heart goes out to all her loved ones. Prayers are with you as you adjust to your loss! May God be with you .🤟🤟

An Angel here on this earth & now a Heavenly Angel. Debby was a beautiful lady with talents abound. The love from her husband & her girls is a testament to the shine Debby turned on during her life on earth. Debby’s light shines bright now in Heaven.
