Glenda Marie Harding, 75, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at her peaceful home in the woods near Yellow River in Okaloosa County. Glenda was born on September 27, 1948, in DeFuniak Springs, FL to Benjamin and Margie Dreading.
In 1969, Glenda married Skip Harding in Trenton, NJ, starting an amazing 55-year journey together. In 1970 they moved to Okaloosa County and settled down in Baker, FL in 1977.
Glenda raised two wonderful children before beginning a fulfilling career in home health; she lived for helping others. Her heart was bigger than she was, and she lived that way every day. She gave the greatest gift anyone could ever give…a love for Jesus. Glenda fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith and there is a crown of righteousness awaiting her that Jesus will award her on the appointed day.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Margie Dreading.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Skip; her daughter, Anna and husband, Ludwig Harlson; her son, Matt and wife, Shelly; her three grandchildren, Aidan, Brendan, and Olivia; and two sisters, Phyllis Dreading and Patsy Cooke.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service.
