Ila Faye Hester, 80 of Crestview, Florida passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022. Ms. Hester was born on December 18, 1941, in Florala, Alabama to George and Inlet Casey. Ila has been a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County and was retired with the Civil Service as a Data Transcriber.
Ila is preceded in death by her parents, George Casey and Inlet Fleming, her husband, Daniel Hester, her daughter Elizabeth L. Everage, her brother DeWayne Casey.
Ila is survived by her daughter, Jodie Feliccia, her son, James Estes, son in law, Ralph Everage, her granddaughter, Megan Anaya, her grandson, Samuel Everage, her great grandson, Micah Anaya, her great granddaughters, Matilda Anaya, Catalina (Lina) Anaya, her brothers, Rocky Casey and Bill Fleming, her sisters, Tammy (Michael) Owens and Chinesa Culp and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Milligan Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Joey Rogers officiating. Burial to follow at Heritage Gardens in Niceville. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 12 – 1 at Milligan Assembly of God.

Mrs. Hester, it was a great honor to serve as your Case Manager with the Walton Okaloosa Council on Aging. I enjoyed our many talks and will treasure your memory forever. We send our prayers to your family during this very difficult time. I will miss you.
