Jeanette Madden Barrow, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on November 24, 2024, surrounded by family.
Born on December 12, 1955, in Baker, Florida, Jeanette was the daughter of Franklin and Wayree Madden. She grew up with a family that included two sisters and one brother.
Jeanette married the love of her life, Mike Barrow, and together they embraced the life of an Army family, traveling the world and making lasting memories. After years of adventure, they eventually returned to Baker, Florida, where they settled down.
Jeanette was a woman of many talents and held various jobs throughout her life. However, she was best known and loved for her dedication to her family as a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Wayree Madden, and her son, Christopher Barrow.
Jeanette is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Barrow; her son Andrew Barrow (Paula); her grandson Colton Barrow (Zoe); her great-grandson Nathaniel Barrow; her granddaughter Colby Barrow; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Fountain (Douglas). She is also survived by two sisters, one brother, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 7th, at 2:00 PM at Yellow River Baptist Church in Baker, Florida. This will be a casual gathering to remember and honor Jeanette Madden Barrow.
Jeanette lived a full and remarkable life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

My heart hurts for the family. Jeanette was a dear friend to me ( a preacher’s kid) when I needed a friend. Praying for God’s comfort and strength for Mike and all of the family.
