Jodi Lynn Frane

Jodi Lynn Frane of Baker, Florida, went home to the Lord in the early morning hours on May 22, 2024. She was born in York, Pennsylvania on February 24, 1968, to Arthur and Gladys Frane. Jodi and her family moved from Wrightsville, Pennsylvania in 1984, where she later graduated from Baker High School in 1986. She then went on to attend Lurleen B. Wallace Community College- MacArthur Campus, in Opp, Alabama. She graduated in 1990 with a degree in nursing.

She was an active member of Shady Grove Church, where she would participate in as many activities as her health would allow. Jodi was a very loving and caring person, who dedicated herself to helping those around her. She had a spirit that lit up even the darkest of times. All who knew her couldn’t help but love her.

Jodi is proceeded in death by her father, Arthur Wilbur Frane Jr, her mother, Gladys Brown Frane, brother Arthur Wilbur Frane III, brother Gary Frane, and cousin Robert Franklin Brown, Jr.

She was survived by brother James Frane, Sr and wife Florence of Windsor, Pennsylvania, sister Dixie Frane Way of Ward, Arkansas, cousin Stella Brown of Baker, Florida, niece Tracy Bartram and husband Ron of Danville, Virginia, niece Cathy Frane of Crestview, Florida, Niece Dodi Pipkin and husband Donald of Ward, Arkansas, nephew James Frane, Jr and wife Sarah of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, niece Elizabeth Thompson of Milton, Florida, nephew Robert Brown and wife Monica of Baker, Florida, nephew Darrell and wife Lore of Baker, Florida, and many great nieces and nephews.

Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. We love you more.
