Kirsten Nicole Paige Thompson

Kirsten Nicole Paige Thompson, 21, of Crestview, Florida passed away July 8th, 2024. Kirsten was born on July 30th, 2002 in Milton Florida to Ralph (Jeremy) Thompson and Tiffany Russell.

Kirsten spent her entire life in the city of Crestview, FL where she attended Crestview High School, she was avid member of the choir. She spent her years after high school waiting tables and cooking while deciding the next steps for her future, while working in restaurants she picked up the skill of cooking. She enjoyed singing, reading, working, and cooking for her family. She often would bring home cooked meals to her grandmother and loved to visit her often.

Kirsten was very family oriented, she was the first born child to both her mom and dad and would come to be the oldest sibling of six, she always welcomed her younger siblings and made time and space for them when she moved into her own space, they were not exempt from her home cooked meals. She took on a very important role after losing her own mother at the age of 20, she made sure the keep the light in her family active. Kirsten made a life with her loving fiancé who she resided with the last six years of her beautiful life, they had made countless memories together and kept their relationship by nothing less than true love. She cared deeply for animals, she had two dogs and four cats which she adored, she even used her loved for cooking on them and would make homemade pet food. She would stop at no end to treat the ones that she loved.

Kirsten had a special love for many of God’s gifts, such going to the beach, she always joked that she was a mermaid, she spent so many summers reading on the shore. She enjoyed planning beach days and packing snacks and supplies for her family when she would bring them.

Kirstens death was preceded by her mother, Tiffany Russell, her maternal grandparents, and her paternal grandmother Alonia (Dell) Thompson.

  Kirsten was survived by her paternal great grandmother, Helen (Francis) Ziglar, her fiancé Kaylah Hanson, her father, Ralph (Jeremy) Thompson, her paternal grandfather John Thompson, her aunts and uncles Stevie Ziglar, Kyra Newman, and Brian Davis, Her great aunts and uncles, Jennie Day, John Day, Ralph Thompson, Sonja Ziglar, her siblings Kayleah Thompson, Keyera Thompson, Kloie Thompson, Breona Russell, Kellie Thompson, Jonathan Joshua (Johnny) Martinez, and her many cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Josh Neel officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
