Kris Iona Batson Franks 58, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 peacefully at home with her family at her side. Kris was born on July 20, 1966 in Florala, Alabama to Clyde and Christine Batson and was a lifelong resident of Crestview, Florida.
Kris loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, John Cena, wrestling and spending time with family and loved ones.
Kris is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Christine Milstead Batson and her sister, Linda Batson.
Kris is survived by her two brothers, Ronnie Smelley and Shannon Smelley, her two sisters, Wilma Glass and Zonnie Moore and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family.
