Larry Layton Nutt passed away suddenly on Friday December 09, 2022 at the age of 61

Born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Crestview resident for the last 14 yrs.

Larry was known to many as Mountain Man. He was a Hunter (deer), Fisherman (salmon FISH-ON) and a Motorcycle enthusiast (FTW). He enjoyed being outside in Nature. He would dance along the river bank and maneuver through the woods, mountains and curves as if he was part of them. He was a story teller who had a way with word, that would motivate, calm, encourage and entertain. A Master Carpenter of 40 + yrs.  With Knowledge in many other areas.

    Survived by his:                                                                                                                                                       Wife Candie Nutt (Klaus, Gruno) together 28 yrs.,  Daughter Desiree’ Obermiller of Clare MI. Sons Phillip (Becky) Gruno of Gladwin, MI., Jeremiah (April) Gruno of Gladwin, MI., 4 granddaughters, 6 grandsons, Sisters Melynda (Frank) Burlison of Hillsdale, MI., Connie (Roger) Hackworth of Harrison, MI., Lorri (Russ) McCalla of Mason, MI.,  Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews (great & great-great) and of course his chosen Brothers and Sister whom he loved deeply.  He will be remembered and missed by many.

Proceeded in death by:

Father Lawrence Walter Nutt, Mother Lola Lee (Moran, Nutt) Johnson, Brother Randy Nutt, and Son Dale Gruno.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday 12/17/22 from 1pm until ?@ 121 Springwood Circle, Crestview, FL.

And in Michigan Saturday 1/14/23 @ Summerfield Township Hall  9971 Finley Lake Ave., Leota,  Michigan from  1- 3pm

Our Condolences to Candie and family.
Larry was such an amazing person. Met him and Candie at Salmon camp in Michigan. Always enjoyed our time at camp. We lost a good one for sure. RIP Larry until were all together again. Love John and Deb Haas. 💔
