Lawrence Marvin Styron
July 15, 1959 – March 19, 2025
Lawrence Marvin Styron, 65 of Baker, FL passed away on March 19, 2025. Marvin was the oldest of four children born to James and Susie Styron in Boulder, CO. Marvin met the love of his life, Rhonda Jordan, in high school. They were married on June 24, 1978 and had 3 sons, Kenneth, Kevin & Zachary. Marvin had a deep love for all sports and enthusiastically coached his sons in football and baseball. He continued to share his passion for sports by coaching and umpiring at BAYA for many years, fostering a love of the game in countless children. He spent many nights supporting the Baker Gators and was a devoted fan of his Florida State Seminoles. He dedicated 30 years to BAE as a Mechanical Technician.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rhonda, his sons Kenneth (Ashley), Kevin (Kim) and Zachary, grandchildren Kevin (Sonya), Laynie, Mason, Sawyer, Jackson, and coming soon, Hunter & Hadley, great grandson Archer and bonus grandchildren, Jakob & Alex, his brothers Greg (Martha), Mark (Tracy) and sister, Jennie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 beginning at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Donnie Cadenhead officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the funeral home.
