Lori Ann Ethridge, age 61, of Crestview, Florida gained her Angel wings on Sunday, November 06, 2022. She was born on May 29, 1961 in Andalusia, Alabama and moved to Crestview, Florida as a young girl. Lori was a dedicated and loving housewife and mother. She was a caregiver for many relatives. She loved spending time with her family and made friends with nearly any person she met. Her favorite thing in the world was being “Nanny” to her granddaughter and being “Aunt LaLa” to her many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Sowell, her father Nolan Sowell, her brother David Sowell, her mother-in-law Mary Ethridge, her father-in-law Robert Ethridge, her nephew Chris Hall, and her brother-in-law Jessie Ethridge.
Lori is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jerry Ethridge, her son Aaron Ethridge, her daughter-in-law Mikaylah Ethridge, her granddaughter Berkleigh Ethridge, and a second grandchild on the way.
Her sister Marie Hall and husband John Hall, her brother Bobby Sowell and wife Geana Sowell, her sister Sherry Raybon and husband Brandy Raybon, and her brother Rodney Sowell and wife Candice Sowell.
Her brother-in-law James Ethridge and wife Darlene Ethridge, and brother-in-law Jeffery Ethridge.
And her 59 nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Lori’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Brackney Funeral Service at 480 E. James Lee Boulevard in Crestview. Family visitation will begin at 9:30 AM and friend visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Pastor Donnie Cadenhead will be officiating.
Immediately following the Funeral Service at Brackney, there will be a procession to a Graveside Funeral Service at Crain Cemetery on Trinity Church Road in Milton, Florida.

I was so shocked to see this news. Heaven gained a precious Angel. Lori was an awesome friend for many many years. She will be greatly missed. I didn’t get to see her as much in the last 4 years since we moved to Kentucky but we did follow each other on Facebook. I do know she was very proud of her granddaughter. My thoughts and prayers are for Jerry and Aaron.
