On March 12, 2025, Michael “Mike” Keith Sapp, 65, passed away peacefully at West Florida Hospital. He is now eternally healthy and resting in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
Mike was born on January 14, 1960, in Crestview, Florida to the late Odis and Jean Sapp. He was the youngest of three children. Mike proudly founded Emerald Coast Pest Control in 1988 and grew it to be a successful business. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time on the water. Many people remember Mike as a guy who could come up with a catch phrase or silly name for just about anything. Above all, he cherished his family, including his four children, seven grandchildren, his devoted wife, Calee, and their dog, Georgia.
Mike Sapp made a lasting impact on countless lives and now leaves that legacy behind for his family.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Odis Sapp, his mother, Jean Sapp, and his wife, Denise Sapp.
Mike is survived by his wife, Calee Sapp, his children, Scott Sapp (Susan), Brittany Kelly (Derek), Rachel McDuffie (Joseph), and Angie Sapp, his sisters, Glenda Gordon (Jerrell) and Dewana Johnson (Ronnie), his grandchildren, Ollie, Lynde, Grayson, Lilee, Tucker, Kinsley and Claire, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Mike Sapp’s life, legacy, and memories will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church (3252 East James Lee Blvd. Crestview, Florida 32539) with Pastor Frank Griffith officiating.
