Crestview, FL – Myrtle Geraldine “Jeri” Crawford Jones, 86, widow of William Alton Jones, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2:58 am.
She was born April 30, 1938 in Pelzer, SC, to the late William Edgar and Mattie Grace Beacham Crawford. She was a 1957 graduate of Palmetto High School in Williamston, SC. Jeri was a realtor with Wanda G Robert Realty; a member of GFWC Woman’s Club of Crestview/Ft Walton Beach, Elks Lodge 2624, American Legion Post 75, Florida Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #203, Red Hat Society, Crosspoint Church South Crestview, and First Methodist Church of Crestview
Survivors include sons, Marcus Jones (Denise) of Soddy Daisy, TN; Bruce Jones (Lien) of Chesapeake, VA; Robert Jones (Stephanie) of Simpsonville, SC; and Greg Crawford (Kim) of Greer, SC; eight grandchildren, Sydney, Trevor, Delaney, Tyler, Tia, Dusty, Katie and Austin; one great-grandchild, Harrison; sister, Jeanne Crawford Segers (Everette) of Williamston, SC; and brothers, James Crawford (Jennifer) of Pelzer, SC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Lucy Crawford Sargent and Margaret Crawford Williams.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held July 13th, 2024, at 10 am at Crosspoint Church South Crestview, 2250 P J Adams Pkwy, Crestview, FL 32536. Interment to be at Barrancas National Cemetery privately with her family in attendance.
