This news hurts my heart. Ron was my go to person when I worked for the city. He had been there and had most of the answers. Most of all he was honest. Rest in Peace

Mr. Alger was such a pleasant person. I got to know him more last year at a city function. He felt comfortable stopping by my desk to talk with me. He always gave me advice about fishing, my gardening, and life in general. He also had some funny jokes he shared. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. Thanks so much for sharing Mr. Algers with us for many years. Rest in peace, Ron.
Your friend, Robin

Ron was not my biological dad but the most real father figure I had in my life, the best in fact. He was a kind man that care for everyone around him. He loved his animals and always loved to joke. We will all dearly miss him! Rest in peace, We hope to see you in the next life!
