Roy Angus “Andy” Richards Jr., 60, of Baker, Florida, passed away on May 23, 2025.

Andy graduated from Baker High School in 1982 and began working in the construction trade shortly after. He spent many years helping build high-rises and large-scale structures up and down the Florida coast, earning a reputation for hard work and reliability. Later in life, he transitioned into corrections with the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections, where he worked until medically retiring.

In his free time, Andy enjoyed dog hunting, playing poker, and spending time with friends. He appreciated the simple things—quiet moments.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Angus Richards Sr. He is survived by his mother, Betty Richards, and his brother, Scott Richards. He also leaves behind his children: Keisha Norville (Ron), Kimber Richards, Jeremy Helms, and Johnathan Robinson (Danielle); his grandchildren: Haylie Borcherding (Blake), Ashlyn Robinson, Malachi Eaves, Ayden Norville, Aaron Eaves, Annlee Tobias, Zoe Tobias, Shelby Norville, Daisy Norville, Grayson Richards, Frankie Richards, and Jennie Richards; and great-grandchildren Hayward Borcherding and Hudson Borcherding.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, May 27 from the Aubrey Jordan Memorial Cemetery in Baker.
