On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, Thomas Daniel Bowman, Sr. passed away at his home at the age of 80. He leaves behind four children Patti Allen, Jeff Bowman, Laura Kelly, and Robin Alfaro, as well as 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Bowman and son Thomas D Bowman, Jr.
Thomas was retired as a M.Sgt. in the USAF and continued his career as a civil service heavy equipment operator. He was an active member of the Am Vets and VFW for many years. In his retirement he enjoyed fishing and golf as well as cooking out and enjoying a cold beer with friends and family.
He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held at Brackney Funeral Service, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 beginning at 11:00am, burial will follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 10 to 11am at the funeral home.

Tom will be missed and we enjoyed being neighbors for many years. I use to take him sweets pies cake etc and he finally said I am a diabetic we had some good conversations and sympathy goes to his family

Tom was a great guy with a great smile and always willing to lend a helping hand. You could hear him talk a country mile and always had something witty to say. Tom,you and Tom T.Hall can talk old times now.For sure
At Duke Field he was a tireless sweeper operator for many years who kept the runways free of debris for aircraft launches. Tom,now you can keep those streets of gold swept. Keep em swept for me for when the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
