Thomas Dewey Mobley 76, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, in Pensacola, Florida. Thomas was born on March 4, 1947, in Gulf County, Florida to Thomas and Ida Mobley. He lived in the Florida Panhandle most of his life and was a member of Milligan Assembly of God. Thomas was a master bricklayer and worked in masonry along with teaching this trade at the Vetch at the college in Niceville, Florida. He was an avid member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Berry and Ida Mildred Mobley and his son, Thomas Berry Mobley and a close friend Clayton Terry.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra Mobley, his two sons, Dusty Courtney Mobley, Jimmy Nelson, his daughter, Mona Nelson, his grandchildren, Jonathan Ethan Mobley, Melissa Barrow, Dylan Dorsey, Jess Dorsey, Logan Barrow, Luke Barrow, Levi Barrow, Kate Dorsey, and Lilly Dorsey, his brothers, Johnny Mobley and Larry Mobley along with numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Tony Helms and close friends Ronnie Crews and Jerry Franklin.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Mike White officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
