Tom McAllaster

Tom William McAllaster 79, of Crestview, Florida passed away on January 28, 2025. Tom was born on January 9, 1946 in Willits, California to William and Rosetta McAllaster. Tom was raised in Willits, California and a 1963 graduate of Willits High School. He then joined the Navy in 1966 and honorably served thru 1968. He was a member of R.K. Turner Ship No. DLG20.

After being in the military Tom went to Fresno State University, to then begin his many business adventures with Casino’s in Reno and Vegas. Tom was employed by the United States Post Office until retirement and married his love in 2003.

Tom loved to hunt and fish all the time. He was very loved and will be missed by all.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Rosetta McAllaster and William McAllaster.

Tom is survived by his wife, Miriam McAllaster, his two daughters, Angel Ann McAllaster and Nevaeh Star McAllaster, his brother, Jim McAllaster and his favorite cousin “Brother”, Billy Lee Drew.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Crestview, Florida with Father Roy Marien officiating. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. everyone will meet at Olive Baptist Church – Warrington Campus, 103 Winthrop Avenue Pensacola, Florida at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
