With loving hearts, we announce that Tonya Earl Chapman (Britto), 57, of Tampa, has gone to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Born on October 3, 1967 in the Bronx, New York she was the daughter of Lynelle Tinker and Anthony Britto.
Tonya graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School in Fresh Meadows, New York. She would later go on to complete her Bachelor’s degree at Bryant and Stratton College in Virginia Beach, Va.
In 1988, Tonya married Randy Chapman Sr. and had two children; Christina and Randy.
Tonya was a loving person that enjoyed giving back to her community. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and participated in programs for kids such as Head Start. She enjoyed computers, writing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Christina Inge (Kevin) and Randy Chapman Jr., grandchildren: Alecea, Kahlessi, Christopher and Khloe, father Anthony Britto, brother Stephan Earl, sister Andrea Lincoln, brother Brett Britto (Rhonda), several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in private.

My first sister, maryann Downes, and Tonya, always , was the, best of friends, maryann, was the spark, between my brother, Randy Chapman, and my sister Tonya Chapman, Tonya was a great sister, to me,Tonya Chapman, always seem to be a very, positive person, always had, a positive smile 😊 on her face, I was very happy, when my brother, Randy Chapman, had got married to her, she truly loved, her family, my nephew Randy jr, and niece Christina, and 3 grand niece’s and 1 grand nephew their father as well, we are really, and truly, going to miss you, Tonya Chapman.
