Vanessa Lee Chessher

The family of Vanessa Lee Chessher, of Baker Florida is saddened to announce her passing on May 17, 2021 at the age of 17.
Vanessa was born on July 2, 2003 to Jason Chessher & Sharleen Abeyla at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Vanessa attended Baker High School and was to graduate with her class on June 1, 2021.
She enjoyed doing what most 17-year-old teens do raised in the panhandle, going to the river to swim and riding four wheelers (mudding) on country trails. Vanessa had many friends who have said she had a way of making you smile, she lit up a room with her loving personality.
Most importantly, Vanessa had a deep love for her family, and cherished the time they would spend together playing practical jokes on each other and enjoying family dinners. She leaves behind her parents Jason Chessher and Sharleen Abeyla, her bonus Dad Bradley Barto along with her sister Jaden Chessher. Her memory will forever be cherished by her grandparents Derek & Lorretta Boudy, Paul Chessher, her close friends Kailee, Michelle, Brenda & Destiny and numerous family members.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Brackney Funeral Service Chapel, then to follow with a celebration of her life beginning at 6:00 pm with Pastor Dale Walters Officiating.
