Wendy Marie Zegel, age 52, of Milligan passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was a high school graduate of Lakewood High School. Wendy worked as a Supported Living Coach for 28 years. Wendy loved her career and the clients that she helped support on a daily basis. Wendy loved to travel while living in Germany. Paris, Holland and Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic were just a few of her favorite places. Wendy loved jewelry and antiques and could never pass up a great deal on either. She had a passion for cooking and baking that included Mexican steak and Lemon cake. She had a unique talent of making the best sandwich ever. Wendy’s favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween. Her favorite television sitcom was the Golden Girls. Wendy was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Wendy was a giver and was always looking for ways to make everyone’s life a little brighter. Love & light was a motto that she lived by daily. She is proceeded in death by her biological father Loyd Eugene “Gene” Ward. She is survived by her husband Peter Zegel of 21 years. Her mother Paula Boswell and father James Boswell. Sister, (Lisa Hernly) and brother (Jason Boswell). Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held on December 14, 2021 from 5pm-7pm at Brackney Funeral Services at 480 E. James Lee Blvd, Crestview, Florida 32539.
