Aida Mae McElrath Brown 65, of Crestview Florida passed away Friday, January 6, 2023.

Aida was born on December 2, 1957, to James and Leitha Williams in Vinegar Bend, Alabama.

She moved to Crestview from Citronelle Alabama and has been a resident ever since. Aida loved helping people which is why she chose to work in hospitality with her family. Aida was an active member of Sunlight Covenant Church.

Aida is preceded in death by her parents, James Lee and Leitha Williams, her brothers, Charles Williams and Joe Williams, her sisters, Theresa Williams, Rosemary, Faniemay and Alma Mae.

Aida is survived by her four children, Anthony McElrath (Jennifer), Achilles McElrath, Abner McElrath and Anriguez McElrath  (Carolyn), her brothers, James Williams, Ernest Williams and Robert Williams, her sister Pam, eighteen grandchildren, Anthony Jarrell, Angelica, Aletha, Aaliyah, Ariah, Jayden, Ashlynn, Adriel, Jeremiah, Aliza, Ariana, Branee, Lexus, Deshawn, Gracie, Gracie, Amiah and Aliza and her great grandson, Abel.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Alvin Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Citronelle, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 10 am – 11 am at the funeral home.

My deepest condolences. Aida was so much like a second mom to my sons while growing up. She was so loved by everyone and will be forever missed but always in my heart. She was an amazing woman.

My condolences to the Family. I met Aida @ Crestview Church Of Nazarene, she was always so warm and kind. Over the past two years we because friends, shared stories about our lives and family, had serious conversation and many laugh. I will miss her greatly. God need another Angel in heaven. RIP MY SISTER!

Want to just say to her sons that I am very sorry about your mom’s passing. I literally just found out about just now on 1/25/2023 by looking on here. For those of you that did know me mainly Abner and Anriquez yall know I’ve called your mom MOM for many many years and I would’ve never missed her funeral but I just found out about it and I’m sorry guys. Just know my heart is with all of her boys and her grandkids and other family.
