Alger Dale Walker , 70 of baker, Florida went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Dale was born on November 21, 1952. He worked for the Okaloosa School District for 37 years. Dale was a member of the Baker Water System and Deacon & Trustee of First Baptist Church of Baker. A man of faith and the heart of his family. Dale loved serving the Lord and stood strong on the promises of the land. He will be deeply missed but there is comfort in knowing we will see him again.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley & Twynette Walker, his mother and father inlaws, Dan and Mildred Adams.
Dale is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of almost 49 years, Jean, his precious children Jennifer Measel and Daniel Walker, wife April, his grandchildren and his heart, Nikolas, Christian and Kylie Measel, Emily, Dawson and Gracelynn Walker, his sister Gail Walker.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation Friday, March 17, 2023 from 6-8 pm at the First Baptist Church in Baker, Florida followed by internment at Aubrey Jordan Memorial Garden in Baker Florida.

Dale was a great friend and co-worker in the Okaloosa County School’s Maintenance Department. He always had a professional attitude, and was just a pleasure to work with. He was the type of person that you leaned on for advice and ideas whether personal or professional. Rest in peace.
