So sad to hear. Have been corresponding with her since spring about the Huff reunion in Granville TN. She has sent me wonderful letters and cards even though we never met in person. So sad we never got to meet in person at the family reunion

My heart is broken, I just check with her about the storms down there, said she was fine but her daughter was without lights. I’m going to miss her so much, we had planned a few years ago to meet up when she came up to visit her sister-in-law, because I live near her. But life happen and it didn’t happen. She kept me going when I had cancer. She was my Hero. Prayers hugs love and peace to her family and friends. Good bye my friend. I love you

Carolyn remembered me from elementary school when I was a crossing guard. She said I turned her in for something, I dont remember what, but we found each other on Facebook years ago and had a great relationship.I would send her pictures of cats, and when she didnt respond, I checked her page and saw the sad news, I will miss her deeply, she was a great friend!

To the family of Carolyn,
I found this notice today, I’m sadden by the news. Now I know why my emails went unanswered.
I attended Bailey with Carolyn and also Hume Fogg. I have never known Carolyn to ever say anything bad about anyone. She was always the sweetest and most kind loving person I had the pleasure of knowing.
I was glad to reconnect with Carolyn, 20 years ago, and to have lunch with her and Don on a trip to Nashville.
She loved her family and so was so proud to be called NaNa.
Prayers to Don and family, I’m sorry this is late but I just found out. We lost a wonderful lady but what an Angle haven gained.
