Mrs. Catherine Lundy Mann, age 95, of Crestview, passed away Thursday evening, May 5, 2022, at SilvercrestHealth and Rehabilitation Center in Crestview, Florida.
She was born December 17, 1926, in Opp, Alabama, a daughter of the late George and Ola Mae Cook Lundy.Catherine was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County where she raised three wonderful children.
Catherine enjoyed traveling with the Joy Group, making porcelain dolls with friends at the “doll house,” and oil painting. One of her greatest joys was cooking and feeding her family. Her recipes have been shared throughout the family and will be cherished at many future family gatherings.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 49years, Willard K. Mann Sr.
Catherine is survived by two sons and one daughter:Willard Kenneth (Naomi) Mann Jr., Warren Dennis Mann, and Constance Delores Karr.
Her grandchildren: Haley (Jacob) Kirby, Julee Tabor, Katie (Matt) Bartomeo, Chelsea (Dwight) Walker, Shelby (Chris) Camposano and Kara Mann.
Her great grandchildren: Hayden Kirby, Rylee Breen, Micah Kirby, Tison Breen, Chandler Kirby, Rylan Walker, Braxton Tabor, Avery Camposano, McKenna Camposanoand Charlotte Bartomeo.
In December of 2021, Catherine welcomed her first great-great grandchild, Oaklyn Kirby.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service in Crestview, Florida with Dr. Stan Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery in Crestview, Florida.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Brackney Funeral home.
