Christine Milstead Batson 73, of Crestview Florida passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. Christine was born on July 21, 1949, in Florala Alabama to Cecil R. Milstead Sr and Cristell Milstead. She was a lifelong resident of Crestview Florida. Christine was a hard worker and a caregiver to all that she could. She loved collecting Roses for her garden, Elvis and was a collector of things.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Rubin Milstead Sr and Cristell Milstead, her daughter, Linda Batson, her brother, Buddy Milstead and her sister Sylvia Jordan.
Christine is survived by her three daughters, Kris Franks, Zonnie Moore and Wilma Glass, her sister, Gail Milstead, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Pastor Fred Jordan officiating. Burial to follow at Cotton Cemetery in Baker Florida. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

We went to school together at Escambia Farms School.
Christine and I picked cotton together in my daddy’s fields.

Just wanted to say rest in peace mom I will always love you thank you for everything you’ve done and I will always love you I just wish you would have gave us a little bit more time to cherish the moments with you but I know you’re not hurting no more and you’re in a better place and I will see you one day again until then tell Granny and Grandpa and sis and Heather I said I love them and I miss him

Nana I just wanted to say I love you with all my heart and soul and you were truly the best and greatest grandparent anyone could’ve asked for. I miss you already and the pain will never heal but you will forever be in my heart and all the memories I have with you I will always cherish. What a beautiful sister I had I talked to her 2 to 3 times daily and always said i love you she is going to be missed by so many i know tomrrow will be a hard day to say our final good bye she was always there when I needed my phone partner I love you and miss you so much until we see each other again i love and miss you my sister love always
