Connie Sue Carr, 56 of Holt, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 peacefully at her home.
Connie was born on July 7, 1966 in Florala, Alabama to David and Jackie Collinsworth. She was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, David and Jackie Collinsworth.
Connie is survived by her husband, William Earl Carr, her son, William T. Carr, her daughters, Mandy Lee Latham and Heather Lee Settles, her brother, Jerry Wayne Collinsworth, her sister, Bessie Lou McKinney and numerous grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories 601 North Ferdon Blvd. Crestview, Florida 32536 with Pastor Alton Nixon officiating.

Connie, I can’t believe I’m doing this to my wonderful & one of most cherished friends. I never knew back in Richbourg passing you in the halls with Bessie that one day we would become so close. I’m still trying to understand and but not question god for his decision to take my beautiful friend home but now there’s no more suffering. I love you so much Connie and I told you everytime I talked to you on the phone or saw you. I had just seen you a couple of days before & very glad I did. I do not have a sister but you definitely stepped up and played that roll for me. May you now Rest In Peace and know that you will always be remembered by me as one of my funniest friends. We always found silly things so funny. I love you Connie Sue & I’ll miss you till I see you again.
